Renting a car will open the door to exploring the most beautiful parts of the island. Within a 30-minute drive from Cala D’or you can reach stunning beaches such as Cala Mondrag\u00f3, Cala Llombards or S’Amarador – all beaches with white sand and crystal clear waters. <\/p>\n

Just 15 minutes from Cala D’or is the Mondrag\u00f3 Natural Park, a green oasis with marked hiking trails of varying difficulty. One of Mallorca’s greatest treasures is undoubtedly Es Trenc beach, about 40 minutes’ drive from Cala D’or. This almost three-kilometre long beach with fine white sand and turquoise clear water is often compared to the beaches of the Caribbean. <\/p>\n
Unlike many other popular destinations in Mallorca, Es Trenc remains unthreatened by development as it is part of a protected natural area. As a result, it retains its natural, unspoilt character with beautiful sand dunes and coastal vegetation in the background. <\/p>\n
In the high season, we recommend arriving early in the morning or later in the afternoon to avoid the peak tourist rush. There are a few food stalls on the beach, but be sure to bring plenty of water, sunscreen and an umbrella as there is little natural shade. <\/p>\n

For lovers of dramatic scenery, a must-stop is Sa Calobra in the northwest of the island (approximately 2 hours drive from Cala D’or). This area is famous for its breathtaking 26-turn road that winds down from the UNESCO-listed Tramuntana Mountains to the sea. <\/p>\n
Sa Calobra beach itself is hidden among the massive cliffs and can be reached through a passage between the rocks. This place, where the Torrent de Pareis mountain canyon meets the sea, is one of the most photogenic in Mallorca. <\/p>\n
For an even more interesting experience, you can arrive in Sa Calobra by boat from Port de S\u00f3ller and then return by rental car. This combination allows you to see this natural wonder both from the sea and from the beautiful mountain road. <\/p>\n
We recommend that you plan your visit to Sa Calobra during the off-peak hours of the day, when you can better enjoy the beauty of this place without the crowds of tourists.<\/p>\n
